Mackenzie is an internationally experienced professional makeup artist dedicated to continually expanding her craft and refining her skills to the highest standard. Her passion for makeup stems from a lifelong love of both theatre and history, two disciplines she enjoys blending whenever possible. As playwright Lee Hall famously wrote, “The point of theatre is transformation: to make an extraordinary event out of ordinary material right in front of an audience's eyes.” For Mackenzie, makeup design is at the heart of that transformation, bringing characters, stories, and visions to life.

Her work spans a diverse range of industries and disciplines, including film, television, theatre, bridal, editorial, high-fashion, runway, airbrush artistry, and advanced special effects makeup.

In 2018, Mackenzie’s runway work was featured in Vogue UK and Harper’s Bazaar. In 2020, her special effects artistry earned recognition at the Queens World Film Festival, where she received the award for Outstanding Special Effects for her work on The Creeper’s Curse. In 2024, Tea, directed by Blake Rice, made its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival as a contender in the Short Film Competition. The film was also considered during the 2024 Academy Awards season and went on to receive the award for Best Hair and Makeup at the RiverRun International Film Festival in 2025. Also in 2025, Mackenzie had the unique opportunity to design and apply makeup for a custom character created in celebration of Prudential's 200th Anniversary. The character was featured during the company's landmark bicentennial event at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Mackenzie is a graduate of Syracuse University, the London School of Business and Finance, and the New York campus of Make-up Designory (MUD), where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA and completed more than 860 hours of intensive professional training.
